Hanoi’s largest covered market, Dong Xuan is usually found on most visitors sightseeing list. It’s a sprawling traditional Vietnamese market best visited early or late in the day. There are plenty of trinkets, bags, t-shirts, homeware, art and fake good galore in this bustling, crowded space. The market is spread out over three floors with plenty of hawker stalls inside and out; it’s an interesting place to visit in the evening when it’s all lit up and certainly a great place to get some superb holiday photos.  Dong Xuan is a three-storey market located in the Old Quarter, 900m north of the Hoan Kiem Lake.
